Coromandel MP Scott Simpson is urging local voters not to put off voting in the flag referendum.

He says it’s a postal vote and it’s far too easy to put voting papers on the kitchen table and forget to come back to them.

“Whatever your view,   if it’s for change or to retain the current flag don’t forget to vote as this is your chance to have your say” said Mr Simpson.

Don’t put the voting papers on the kitchen table. Vote straightaway and post it today.

Voting papers must be returned by the 24 March.
