“ The road from Waihi to Tauranga is like the front driveway to the Coromandel” said MP for Coromandel Scott Simpson.

“I am really pleased that there is going to be major urban safety changes, pedestrian crossings, footpaths and  intersection safety changes.” said Mr Simpson.

“There is going to be another look at the Katikati future bypass, including re-testing the need for it against current-day issues.”

“This is a very significant investment in  safety and future proofing. This is roading that will further help build bright futures for locals, visitors  and businesses alike” said Mr Simpson.
